How can you get a replacement car?

Damaged vehicle – repairable (not a total loss)

Between notification and assessment

The period between the date the damage is reported and the date the damage is assessed by the insurer is reimbursed, when the car can no longer be used from a technical point of view.

Between assessment and entry into repair

The period needed by the owner to take the vehicle to the service is reimbursed, but no more than 3 working days from the damage assessment, if the car can no longer be used technically.

During the repair

The actual period required for the repair is reimbursed, calculated from the date of signing the service check-in documents until the completion of the works and the handover of the repaired car.

Damaged vehicle – total loss

Right to a replacement car from the moment the damage is reported until you receive the compensation offer from the insurer.

  • The at-fault party’s RCA policy must have been issued after 08.09.2022.
  • If the policy was issued before this date, the norm does not apply retroactively.
