1. RESERVATIONS AND AVAILABILITY

Vehicle availability displayed on the website is real-time and managed automatically through the RentKraft reservation system.

A reservation made on the website is considered firm and instantly confirmed upon completion of the booking process and payment or required advance, subject to compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

Reservations are made by vehicle class, not for a specific model, brand, color, or equipment.

2. RESERVATION EXECUTION AND ALTERNATIVE VEHICLES

RentKraft makes all reasonable efforts to deliver the reserved vehicle class. In exceptional situations beyond RentKraft’s control (unforeseen technical issues, prior damage, delayed returns, force majeure events), the reserved vehicle may become unavailable.

In such cases, RentKraft may offer one of the following solutions, without unjustified additional costs to the client:

– a vehicle from a higher class

– a vehicle from a lower class with a corresponding price adjustment

– an equivalent vehicle

– a change between manual and automatic transmission, depending on availability

3. CLIENT REFUSAL

Unjustified refusal of a reasonable alternative solution offered by RentKraft is considered a no-show and triggers the No-Show policy.

4. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

The driver must:

– be at least 20 years old

– be no older than 80 years

– hold a valid Category B driving license for a minimum of 1 year

– present a valid identity document

RentKraft vehicles may not be rented by novice drivers.

5. AGE SURCHARGES

Drivers aged between 20 and 22 years are subject to a Young Driver fee of 20 EUR per day, capped at a maximum of 200 EUR per rental.

Drivers aged between 70 and 80 years are subject to a Senior Driver fee of 20 EUR per day, capped at a maximum of 200 EUR per rental.

Drivers aged between 23 and 69 years are not subject to any age-related surcharge.

6. MILEAGE

The Basic package includes 100 km/day regardless of the number of days.

Additional kilometers are charged at 0.19 EUR/km.

The Premium package includes:

– 200 km/day for reservations with an initial duration of 1–3 days

– unlimited mileage exclusively for reservations initially made for a minimum of 4 consecutive days

Important:

In case of extension of an initial reservation shorter than 4 days, 200 km are included for each additional day. The unlimited mileage regime is not activated retroactively.

Additional kilometers, where applicable, are charged at 0.19 EUR/km.

7. PRICES AND EXCHANGE RATE

All rates are set in EUR. Payments are made in RON at the BCR selling exchange rate of Friday, used as the weekly reference rate and applied for the entire following week.

8. FUEL

Clients may opt for prepaid fuel. Any remaining fuel at return is non-refundable.

Prepaid fuel rates by vehicle class:

– CDMR / ECMR / EDAR / EDMR: 79.99 EUR

– CGAR / DDMR / IDAR / IFAR: 90.00 EUR

– PDAR: 99.99 EUR

– SFAR: 95.00 EUR

If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than at pickup and prepaid fuel was not selected, a service fee of 15 EUR applies, plus the cost of missing fuel calculated at 2 EUR/liter.

9. AFTER-HOURS PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF

Standard working hours: Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00.

Pick-up between 22:00–08:00: 15 EUR.

Drop-off between 18:00–22:00, on weekends or public holidays: 9.99 EUR.

10. ONE-WAY RENTALS

Returning the vehicle to a different location than the pick-up point is only possible with prior approval from RentKraft and is subject to an additional fee.

Indicative One Way fees:

Otopeni – Brașov: 120 EUR

Otopeni – Suceava: 150 EUR

Otopeni – Iași: 140 EUR

Otopeni – Bacău: 140 EUR

Brașov – Bacău: 70 EUR

Brașov – Iași: 99.99 EUR

Brașov – Suceava: 120 EUR

Suceava – Bacău: 50 EUR

Suceava – Iași: 50 EUR

Suceava – Brașov: 120 EUR

Iași – Bacău: 50 EUR

Iași – Brașov: 99.99 EUR

The exact fee is confirmed at the time of booking, depending on availability.

11. EARLY RETURN

Returning the vehicle before the contracted end date does not entitle the client to any refund.

12. CANCELLATION POLICY

For reservations made with the Premium package, cancellation or modification of the reservation is free of charge if requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.

If the cancellation or modification is requested less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, a 50 EUR administration fee will apply.

Basic Package

For reservations made with the Basic package, cancellation or modification of the reservation at least 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time is subject to a 50 EUR administration fee.

If the cancellation or modification is requested less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, the amounts paid are non-refundable.

13. NO-SHOW POLICY

In the event that the client does not appear at the scheduled date and time for vehicle pick-up without prior notice, the reservation is considered a No-Show and the amounts paid are non-refundable, regardless of the selected package.

The reservation will be held for a maximum period of 60 minutes from the scheduled pick-up time.

The following situations are also considered No-Show cases where the client presents at the location but cannot take possession of the vehicle due to failure to meet the contractual conditions, including but not limited to:

– presenting expired or invalid identity documents or driving licence

– failure to meet the minimum driving licence experience requirement for category B

– failure to meet the minimum or maximum age requirements applicable to the reserved vehicle class

– inability to provide the required documents or information necessary to conclude the rental agreement.

In such situations, the reservation is considered unfulfilled due to the client’s fault and the amounts paid are non-refundable.

14. FINAL PROVISIONS

• By placing a reservation on the website, the client confirms having read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions.
